Yesterday I took Evan and Joni for their physicals. I was glad that Evan still got to go to his physical since earlier in the week he was diagnosed with croup. I have no idea where he got that, but thankfully it was a mild case. He was on steroids for three days, which did not affect his behavior, thank god. He still has a cough every once in a while, but nothing like it was. Evan is still in the 50 percentile for 5 years old, which is fine since he has always been. He did lose some weight, but I know that is from his sickness over Christmas. He is 43 inches tall and weighs 40 pounds.
Joni had a major growth spurt between six months and nine months. She is now 28 1/2 inches long and weighs 19 1/2 pounds. So she is in between 70-80 percentile. She is working on her first two teeth, which is not fun for her or mommy. She has been quite fussy and not sleeping as well, but I know that comes with the territory. She is rolling all over the place, when she thinks of it, sometimes I have to remind her she can do that. I am not sure if she is going to crawl or not, she gets up on her hands, but not her knees, she does rock back in forth. I think she might just start walking, she is already pulling up when she holds my hands.
